The Pediatric Pandemic Network (PPN) is a network of children’s hospitals across the nation dedicated to empowering healthcare systems and communities to provide high-quality care for children in everyday emergencies, disasters and global health threats.

What are the goals of the Pediatric Pandemic Network?
- Build strong partnerships between children’s hospitals and local, state, regional and national emergency systems to improve planning and education for pediatric care.
- Expand collaborations with emergency preparedness systems, national pediatric organizations and community groups to support children and families.
- Strengthen pediatric readiness across all levels of healthcare (from prehospital to emergency departments to inpatient care).
- Enhance telehealth systems to better serve children and families.
- Speed up the sharing of evidence-based pediatric practices to improve care in real time.
